About Naxos Sheet Music Publishing
Naxos is the world’s leading classical music company. Klaus Heymann founded the company in 1987 in Hong Kong and has developed it from being known primarily as a budget label focusing on standard repertoire into a global music group.
Today, Naxos is at the forefront of online distribution through its streaming platforms and partners, making high-quality music available to a growing audience.
But Naxos is much more than a recordings company. We’re very much a company dedicated to everything to do with music, shown by the very successful Naxos Music Library, the invaluable educational resource.
Naxos Publishing reflects our commitment to making rare music available for study and performance.
The varied catalogues we present here have been developed in close collaboration with experts involved with making new productions for the Naxos group of labels.
As with all our activities, the interests of our customers are at the core of what we do. We present here sheet music to buy in printed form and/or download as PDF files. We also rent orchestral material for performance.
We hope you enjoy discovering the works in our catalogue as much as we do in preparing it.
Our collection of works by Violin Virtuosos from the 19th Century presents a formidable group of works by some of the most well-known performer-composers, from Bériot to Kreutzer and Rode.
The Peter Breiner catalogue is a rich collection of practical arrangements of classical masterpieces, including orchestrations of Debussy’s Préludes, Brahms' Hungarian Dances, as well as suites on Janáček’s operas and original compositions.
Piano music is represented by composers featured on recordings by the Grand Piano Label, beginning with solo piano music by Lars Aksel Bisgaard and Helge Evju’s fascinating Piano Concerto sopra Grieg.
Our Concertos by the Great Composers series features practical arrangements of solo concertos for chamber ensemble, with works by Bartók, Beethoven, Brahms, Lalo, Mendelssohn, Prokofiev and others.
The publishing team in Hong Kong and Vienna prepared these catalogues for you. If you have any questions about our works or the website, please get in touch with us on the contact page.
We love technology, but things can go wrong on a website, so please let us know if anything isn’t working as you expect it to.
Enjoy the catalogue!
