ACCEPTING THE PRIVACY POLICY
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”). By using the Service, you accept the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service (jointly referred to here as the “Terms”). By creating an account or making any purchase, you are required to agree to and accept the Terms. By accepting the Terms, you are confirming that you have read and accept the Privacy Policy and understand how we process, retain, and utilize your personal information. If you do not accept the Privacy Policy or do not wish for the Site to collect or process your personal information in the ways described below, please discontinue your use of the Site and Services.

By agreeing to the Terms, you represent that you are (1) 18 or older, or such other age at which an individual may enter into a legally binding agreement, (2) have the power to enter a binding contract with us and not be barred from doing so under applicable laws, and (3) be a resident in a country where the Service and Site are available. If you do not satisfy the above requirements, you must obtain permission of your parent or legal guardian to use the Naxos Service and to accept the Terms. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

EDITING YOUR INFORMATION
We know that it's important that you have control and choice as to what information is provided. Therefore, we provide you with the option to provide, edit, or remove certain information. We also provide you with options for the way we contact you and keep you updated on your order status, new products, etc.

Please note that while any changes you make will be reflected in active user databases instantly or within a reasonable period of time, we may retain all information you submit for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, satisfaction of legal obligations, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so.

We may need to occasionally contact you. Generally, this communication is through email. That is why we require that every account be created by using a valid email address. We may occasionally contact you by telephone if a purchase is undeliverable.

USES OF INFORMATION, SHARING, AND DISCLOSURE
When you use the services provided on or make purchases through publishing.naxos.com, we collect, use, and process your personal information as previously provided in this privacy policy. We rely on a number of legal basis to utilize your information, including:
– Where necessary to perform the contractual obligations in our Terms & Conditions and to provide services and products to you;
– Where you have consented to the utilization by opting-in to email newsletters, accessing publishing.naxos.com, which can be revoked at any time;

The tax authorities in the jurisdictions in which we are active have the right to audit our tax returns for a period of three years after the tax returns are filed. Because of the possibility of a audit, we retain documents for seven years to ensure that we fully comply with the right of a tax authority to audit our records.

In the event that Naxos Publishing receives a request under one of the above situations, a user's personal information may be disclosed to a third-party. Such personal information includes, but is not limited to, an account holder's name, address, phone number, and email address.

PROTECTING YOUR INFORMATION

BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you, on the condition that you have given us explicit consent to do so.

DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Please see WITHDRAWING YOUR CONSENT below about how we will delete your information.

DUTY OF THE USER
Remember, its your duty to keep your confidential, personal information, private. You should keep your passwords protected and comply with all relevant legal requirements when you use the Site and the Services.

WITHDRAWING YOUR CONSENT
If you no longer wish to give your consent in regards to this Privacy Policy, you can withdraw your consent by asking us to delete your account and discontinuing your use of publishing.naxos.com. We will send a request to our shop system provider, Shopify, to erase all personal data.

Once we request an erasure from Shopify, a 10 day buffer period will begin during which you can cancel the request in case you made the request accidentally.

When you request an erasure, Shopify will only redact personal information (such as name and address). Your anonymized order information will remain intact in case you need it for accounting purposes.

By default, Shopify will not erase personal data if the customer has made an order in the last 6 months (180 days), in case a chargeback occurs. If a request for erasure is submitted in that time frame, then it will sit pending, and Shopify will action it once the appropriate time has passed. You do not need to submit another request.

CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
